Prof. Dr. med. Stefan Benz
is Chief Physician at Klinikum Böblingen-Sindelfingen with over 30 years of surgical experience in complex oncological, minimally invasive, and robotic procedures. As founder of NGSS (New Generation Surgical Simulation), he has long championed the digital transformation of surgery, combining extensive clinical leadership with visionary commitment to revolutionizing surgical practice. He founded Simultare to leverage neuro-symbolic AI in achieving what conventional digital solutions could not: creating intelligent systems that truly understand anatomy and enable universal surgical simulation.
